ZAO TECHIMPORT has produced centrifugal slurry pumps lot (8 pcs.) for a company in Izhevsk.
The deal includes MCM centrifugal slurry pumps supply with the electric motors of national production. Assembling and coupling processed were carried out on the own production facilities, situated in Perm.
Pump size 6x5x14 with electric motor 55 kV. Unit capacity 410 m3/h.
One of the MCM pump distinctive features is a labyrinth mechanical shaft seal. Seal material is a tungsten carbide. Labyrinth seal is a non-contact shaft seal in the form of a small winding gap. The sealing effect is based on the seal path lengthening thanks to the alternate arrangement of the rings on the shaft and the stationary housing.
This type of seal is used because the pumps are exploited under extreme loads (high pressure, high temperature and a large number of revolutions). Technically speaking, the labyrinth seal is difficult to produce and install. However, a decisive advantage here is low friction, which makes high rotation speed possible.
MCM centrifugal pumps have strong serviceability and supplied to substitute native 6H8, 6H8-2, GHN 150, GHN 250.
ZAO TECHIMPORT provides the supply of MCM centrifugal pumps made in the USA within the shortest possible period of time. Pumps can be equipped with American or Russian motors at option. In the former case assembly works are performed by the manufacturer in the USA. In the latter case assembly is carried out on the own production facilities, situated in Perm.
